#fairlysource is a graphical mecanism that aims to
- support cultural and creative SMEs by improving the security of their intangible assets, in particular those carried by copyright,
- limit the spread of fake news on social media platforms.
#fairlysource design is a tag that might be posted to a content enabling the sender of this content to announce his "best effort to search and report primary sources".
Primary sources are classified into five classes :
- State, government, administration, ...
- Journalist, professor, author, artist...
- Political party, association, .....
- Business,...
- Citizen,...
To facilitate reporting, five distinct colors (purple, yellow, green, blue, red) are respectively assigned to the five classes.
The implementation of #fairlysource is simple, immediate and viral : it relies on people soft skills [1].
This mecanism was proposed during the consultation for a public strategy of cultural and creative industries organized by the Ministry of Culture of France [2].
